Installation
Pair Remote Control Receiver to Handset
The receiver and the handset of the remote control sys-
tem must be initially synchronized before the fi rst use.
The receiver is located on the bottom of the fi replace
behind the front panel under the valve heat shield. The
battery holder is located next to the wall switch.

The receiver and gas valve are located on the bottom of the
fi replace behind the front panel under the valve heat shield.
The battery holder is located next to the wall switch.
1. Insert two 1.5 V AAA
set.
2. Behind the front panel of the appliance, slide the
valve heat shield to the right and locate the receiver.
Detach it from the Velcro and pull it out.

3. Locate the Reset button on the top side of the re-
ceiver.
4. With a thin object, press and hold the receiver's
RESET button until you hear one short and one long
beeps. After the second beep, release the reset but-
ton.
5. Within the subsequent 20 sec-
onds, press and hold the
ton on the remote handset for
2-3 seconds. will be dis-
played on the handset during the
pairing sequence. You will hear
two short beeps confi rming the
pairing is done.
This is a one time pairing only
and is not required when changing the batteries of
the handset or battery holder. The remote control
system is now ready to use.
6. If you hear one long beep, the pairing sequence has
failed or the wiring is incorrect.
7. Put the valve heat shield back in place, over the
valve, receiver and v-module.
WARNING
ALWAYS PUT THE VALVE HEAT SHIELD
BACK IN PLACE over the valve, receiver
and v-module! Otherwise, the controls can
overheat and the fireplace stop working.
