WARNING: Sample plate will be hot. Use caution when loading and unloading
samples. Check the sample temperature on the front panel; 60°C and below is
safe to handle.

Select the shade appropriate to the sample size, then insert shade over the light pipe, shiny side facing
down.

Align the notch on the tray with the pin until the tray is firmly seated.

Secure the tray by installing the washer and screw using a 5/64 hex wrench.
