5. Safety instructions

WARNING
Risks for children and people
with reduced physical, sen-
sory or mental capabilities
or a lack of knowledge.
 Fan may only be installed,
commissioned, cleaned and
maintained by people who
can safely recognise and
avoid the risks associated
with this work.
DANGER
Risk to health if filters are not replaced
or if there are no air filters.
Heavily contaminated or damp air filters
may collect substances hazardous to
health (mould, germs etc.). This
may also happen if the fan is not used
for an extended period. If the air filter is
missing, the fan and air channels become
soiled.
 Never operate the fan without air filters.
 Only use original filters.
 Regularly (every 3 to 6 months) change
the air filter, depending on the degree of
soiling.
 If the fan has not been used for a long
time, always replace the air filters.
CAUTION
Risk to health if fan is not correctly
cleaned.
 Clean the fan regularly, at least every
2 years. This is the only way of ensuring
that the unit is running hygienically.
