Manually Removing a Cassette Loaded in the
Drive
❐ Press ALT and then UNLOAD. This will place the magazine in the unload
position.
❐ Open the VLS door. Remove the magazine from the carrier.
❐ Press the eject button on the drive (see Figure 12). It may take 30 seconds or more
for the drive to eject the cassette.

❐ Remove the cassette manually.
❐ Replace the magazine onto the carriage.
❐ Close the door. You can now initiate the load procedure.
