Mounting as a Network Drive

You can easily assign a shared folder as a network drive using NAS Navigator2.

Double-click the NAS Navigator2 icon (

Right-click your Buffalo NAS device's icon and select Map Share.

An icon for the mapped share will appear in Computer or This PC. You can use this network drive just like any
other drive.

Changing the IP Address

Right-click your Buffalo NAS device's icon and select Properties > IP Address.

Clear the "Use DHCP" checkbox and enter the desired settings, then click OK. If the username and password
prompt appears, enter the admin username and password.
Description
Click Settings to open the configuration interface.
Select the "Use DHCP" checkbox to assign an IP address from the DHCP server
automatically. If there is no DHCP server on the network, you cannot use this
function. Select the "Renew IP address" checkbox to obtain an IP address from the
DHCP server. You can manually enter a static IP address, subnet mask, and default
gateway.
