5.5 Unsuitable dishes / cutlery

HE FOLLOWING OBJECTS ARE NOT SUITABLE TO BE WASHED IN A
1. cutlery with handles made of wood, horn, china or mother-of-pearl.
2. not heat-resistant objects.
3. cutlery with glued components, which are not heat-resistant.
4. objects with components of synthetic resin.
5. objects made of copper and/or tin.
6. objects made of leaded crystal.
7. objects made of steel which show signs of rust or are lightly corrosive.
8. any object made of wood.
9. objects made of synthetic fibres.
10. objects soiled by cigarette ashes, wax, lacquers and paints.

1. some glass types may become dead or cloudy after many cleaning programmes.
2. objects made of silver or aluminium may decolourise.
3. glazed motifs may dull when often washed in a dishwasher.

manufacturer of the detergent provides
information about its chemical properties.
