Two Office Communicator users in the same group have the same
Meeting Room name prefix but with a different name.
The connection to each Meeting Room is done via a specific card based on
the definition of the Static Routes in the LCS. In the LCS, a separate Static
Route is defined for each group of Meeting Rooms. For the first Meeting
Rooms group, the Static Route 001* is defined, indicating the IP address of
the first IP card (or MCU) and for the second Meeting Rooms group, the
Static Route 002* is defined, indicating the IP address of the second IP
card (or MCU).
In the Office Communicator client of each user, assign the Meeting Room
associated with this user. Users that belong to the first group will be
assigned a name of their Meeting Room whose prefix belongs to the first
group, while users that belong to the second group will be assigned the
name of their second Meeting Room whose prefix belongs to the second
group.
When Office Communicator users start a new conference, and they belong
to the first group, Office Communicator dials 001MR. These users are
routed via the LCS to the first IP card on the MCU. Office Communicator
users that belong to the second group dial 002MR, and they are routed to
the second IP card (or MCU).
IP+12 card supports up to 12 Office Communicator SIP-CX participants.
IP+24 card supports up to 24 Office Communicator SIP-CX participants.
