Foreign metal substances cause rust stains
in the drum. Clean the stains on the drum
surface with stainless steel cleaners.
Never use steel wool. These will damage
painted, chrome and plastic surfaces.
We recommend wiping the door gasket
and the door glass with a dry and clean
cloth at the end of the programme. This
removes any residue on the door gasket of
your machine and prevents unpleasant
odours.
7.3 Cleaning the product and the
control panel
Wipe the product with soap and water or if
necessary with a non-abrasive mild
cleansing gel and dry with a soft cloth.
Only use a soft and damp cloth to clean
the control panel. Do not use detergents
containing bleach.
7.4 Clean the water supply filters
There is a filter at the end of each water
supply valve on the back of the PRODUCTS
and also at the end of each water supply
hose where they connect to the faucet.
These filters prevent foreign substances
and dirt in the water from entering the
product. The filters should be cleaned
when they become dirty.
1. Close the taps.
2. Remove the nuts from the water supply
hoses to access the filters on the water
supply valves and clean them
with an appropriate brush. If the filters
are too dirty, remove them with pliers
and clean them in this way.
3. Remove the filters on the flat ends of the
water inlet hoses with the gaskets and
clean them carefully under running
water.
4. Carefully reinstall the gaskets and filters
and tighten the bolts by hand.
7.5 Pump out residual water and
clean the pump filter
The filtration system in your product
prevents foreign objects such as buttons,
coins and fabric fibers from clogging the
pump impeller while pumping out the water.
This will allow the water to drain without any
problems and extend the life of the pump.
If the product cannot pump out the water,
the pump filter is clogged. The filter should
be cleaned when it is clogged or at least
every 3 months. The water must first be
pumped out to clean the pump filter.
In addition, the water must be completely
drained before the product is moved (e.g.
if you move to another home).
REMARK:
Foreign substances left in the
pump filter can cause your product
or strange noises.
In regions where there is a risk of
freezing, the tap must be closed,
the hose must be removed and the
water must be drained from the
product when not in use.
Close the water tap to which the
water hose is connected after each
use.
