Using gel and tablet detergents
• If the detergent is liquid and there is no
liquid detergent drawer in your product,
you must place the gel detergent in the
main wash compartment at the first water
supply. If your product is equipped with a
liquid detergent drawer, you must fill this
drawer with the detergent before you start
the programme.
• If the gel detergent is not liquid or in a
capsule, put it directly into the drum
before washing.
• Place the detergent tablets in the main wash
compartment (compartment no. "2") or directly
in the drum before washing.
• Detergents in tablet form can leave
residues in the detergent compartment.
If you notice such residues, you should
apply the detergent tablet between the
laundry during subsequent washes.
However, make sure they don't end up on
the bottom of the drum.
• Use a tablet or liquid detergent without
selecting the prewash function.
• Do not forget to remove elements such as
the plastic detergent drawer from the
drum before drying.
The use of starch
• Place the liquid/powder starch or machine
wash dye in the fabric softener compartment.
• Never use fabric softener and starch
together in the same wash cycle.
• Wipe the inside of the machine with a
damp and clean cloth after using starch.

The use of an anti-limescale agent
• If necessary, you may only use anti-scale
agent made for washing machines.
Use bleach and decolorizers
• Select a program with prewash and add
bleach at the start of the prewash. Do
not put detergent in the prewash
compartment. As an alternative
application, select a program with
additional rinse and add bleach while the
machine takes water from the detergent
compartment during the first rinse
phase.
• Never mix and use bleach and
detergent together.
• As bleach can irritate the skin, only use
small amounts (1/2 teacup - approx. 50
ml) and rinse the laundry well.
• Do not pour bleach directly onto the
laundry.
• Do not use bleach on colored clothes.
• Select a low temperature program if you
use oxygen-based decolorizers.
• Oxygen-based decolorizer may be used
together with detergent. However, if it
does not have the same viscosity as the
detergent, you must first put the
detergent in compartment No. "2" in the
detergent compartment and wait for the
product to flush out the detergent during
the water supply. Add the decolorizer in
the same compartment as water is added
to the machine.
