When an auxiliary function button
that cannot be selected with the
current program is pressed, the
washing machine gives an audible
warning. Some functions cannot be
selected together. If, before the
machine starts, a second auxiliary
function is found to be
incompatible with the first selected
one, the first selected function will
be canceled and the second
auxiliary function will remain in
operation. For example, if you want
to select Short Wash after selecting
Extra water, Extra water will be
canceled and Short Wash will
remain in operation.
An auxiliary function that is not
compatible with the program cannot
be selected. (See "Programme and
consumption table")
Certain programs have auxiliary
functions that must be used at the
same time. These functions cannot
be cancelled. The frame of the
auxiliary function does not light up,
only the inner part lights up.
If the selected humidity level (Iron
Dry, Cupboard Dry, Extra Cupboard
Dry) cannot be reached at the end
of the drying programme, the
program duration is automatically
extended by your machine. The
program takes longer.
If Timer Drying is selected, the
program ends at the end of the
drying time, even if the laundry is
not dry.
If during the drying program the
selected humidity level (Iron Dry,
Cupboard Dry, Extra Cupboard
Dry) is reached or extra dryness is
detected in the drying options, the
program will be shorter. The time
of day appears on the screen.

6.11.1 Auxiliary functions

Prewash
A prewash is only useful for heavily soiled
laundry. If you do not use a prewash, you save
energy, water, detergent and time.

Wash quickly
After selecting a program you can press
the Quick Wash setting button to shorten
the program duration. For some programs
the duration can be reduced by more than
50%. Thanks to the changed algorithm you
will still achieve a good washing
performance.
Although it differs with each program,
when you press the Quick Wash button
once, the program duration is shortened
to a certain duration. Press the same
button a second time to reduce the time
to the minimum level.
Do not use the Quick Wash adjustment knob when
washing heavily soiled laundry for better washing
performance.
Use the Quick Wash for moderately to lightly
soiled laundry and shorten the program
duration.
