• Do not select a program with prewash if you
use a detergent bag or detergent ball. Place
the detergent sachet or bulb directly
between the laundry in the product.
• If you use liquid detergent, follow the
instructions of "How to use liquid
detergent" and do not forget to insert
the liquid detergent device in the correct
position.
• Do not add chemical detergents
(liquid detergent, fabric softener, etc.)
when the machine is in Drying step.
Select the detergent type
The detergent to be used depends on the
washing program, type of material and
colour.
• Use different detergents for colored and
white clothes.
• Wash your delicate clothes with special
detergents (liquid detergent, wool detergent,
etc.) especially for delicate clothes and on the
recommended programmes.
• For washing dark clothes and blankets it
is recommended to use a liquid
detergent.
• Wash woollens on the recommended
program with a special wool detergent.
• See the section of program descriptions
for recommended programs for
different fabrics.
• All detergent recommendations are valid
for the selectable temperature range of
programmes.
You may only use detergents,
fabric softeners and additives that
are suitable for washing machines.
Do not use soap powder.
Adjust the amount of detergent
The amount of detergent to be used depends
on the amount of laundry, the degree of
soiling and the water hardness.
• You may exceed the recommended
dosage values stated on the packaging
to avoid problems with excessive foam
and poor rinsing, to save money and to
protect the environment.
• Use less detergent for less or less dirty
laundry.
Using fabric softeners
Place the softener in the fabric softener compartment
of the detergent compartment.
• Do not exceed the (>max<) level in the
softener compartment.
• If the fabric softener is not liquid, dilute
it before placing it in the softener
compartment.

Do not use liquid detergents or
other materials with cleaning
properties unless they are intended
for use in washing machines to
soften the laundry.
Using liquid detergents
If the product is equipped with a liquid
detergent container
• Push and turn the appliance at the mark
if you want to use liquid detergents.
The part that works downwards as a
barrier for the liquid detergent.
• Clean with water on site or by removal if
necessary. Do not forget to place the
appliance in the main wash compartment
(compartment no. "2") after cleaning.
• The appliance must be raised if you want to
use powder detergent. The fan you see in
this position mixes the washing powder
and helps it dissolve.
