complete the setting.
For sine, square, ramp and pulse wave, 0° is the point at which the waveform passes 0 V (or DC deviation
value) in forward direction.
For arbitrary waveform, 0° is the first waveform point which downloaded to the storage.
Start phase has no effect on the noise wave.
Period of Pulse String
4.3.4
Burst (period of pulse string) is only for N cycle mode, which means the time from one pulse string to the next
pulse string. When trigger source is external, burst (period of pulse string) option in parameter list will be
hidden. The range of burst (period of pulse string) can be set to 1μs~500s; the default range is 1.001ms. After
the type is select N cycle, it can be change by multifunction rotary knob and arrow keys or press soft key Burst
to complete the setting.
Notes
Burst (period of pulse string) ≥ waveform period × cycle number (number of pulse string). At here,
waveform period is the reciprocal of the wave frequency which mentioned in Select Burst.
If burst (period of pulse string) is too short, the waveform generator will increase the designated period
to allow to output a designated number of cycles.
4.3.5 Cycle number of Pulse String
In N cycle mode, pulse string counting is used to specify the number of waveform cycle. The range can be set
to 1- 50000. The default is 1.
arrow keys or press soft key Cycle to complete the setting.
Notes
Cycle number< Trigger period × Wave frequency
If cycle number exceeds the above limits, the waveform generator increase the pulse string period to
adapt the designated pulse string count automatically (but the wave frequency won't be change).
