Replacing fuses

There are 3 fuses built into the Barkey warming center III DTM to protect against overcur-
rent in a fault situation. Two fuses are located next to the mains switch on the front of the
heater insert. These fuses are externally accessible and safeguard the entire power sup-
ply.
One fuse is located on the regulator circuit board to safeguard the electronic system. If
this electronics fuse is defective, the entire regulator circuit board must be replaced.

Replacing the power connector fuse:
The power connector fuses are fine-wire fuses. These fuses can be accessed from the
front of the heater insert.
Switch the device off and pull the mains plug out of the power socket.
Turn the fuse cap around ½ a turn anticlockwise with a flat screwdriver.
Pull the fuse cap about 30 mm out and remove the defective fuse.
NOTE
You cannot remove the fuse cap from the fuseholder completely.
Reinsert a new fuse with the correct rating into the fuse cap.
Screw the fuse cap into the fuseholder.
NOTE
The fuse cap can only be pushed in if the opening with the fuse is facing upwards.
Use a flat screwdriver to turn the cap around ½ a turn clockwise until the cap en-
gages audibly.
