Replacing the heater

Removal:
Remove the heater insert (see Chapter 7.2).
Remove the cover plate (see Chapter 7.2).

Cut the three cables which are fixed in a common cable end sleeve directly at the ca-
ble end sleeve.

Pull the heater rod out of the heater unit.
Refitting the heater:
Refitting the heater takes place in reverse order to removal:
Push the fibreglass hose over the heating rod cables.
Push the heating rods into the drillhole in the heater unit as far as the stop.
Place the heater unit in its original position. In doing so, the heater connecting cable
must be routed in a slight curve underneath the transverse airflow fan.
Fix the heater unit with the four screws.

Loosen the clamping screws on the
two heater cables at the pin-and-
socket connectors on the regulator
circuit board, and remove the cables.
Loosen the four heater unit screws
and pull the heater unit out towards
the front.
