DISASSEMBLING THE SHAFT DRIVE
ASSEMBLY
1. Remove:
9 Housing cover
9 O-ring
9 Ring gear
NOTE:
1/4 of a turn. After all of the bolts are fully loos-
ened, remove them.
2. Remove:

9 Screw 1

3. Remove:
9 Spacer
9 Bearing
9 Shim

The drive pinion gear should only be
removed if ring gear replacement is neces-
sary.
NOTE:
Lightly tap on the end of the drive pinion gear
with a soft hammer.

CHECKING THE SHAFT DRIVE

1. Check:
9 Ring gear 1
2. Check:
9 Drive pinion gear 2
3. Check:
9 Bearing

Hexagon wrench:
90890-01307, YM-01307
Galling/pitting/wear → Replace.
Galling/pitting/wear → Replace.
Damage/pitting → Replace.
