DISASSEMBLING THE FRONT FORK LEG

The following procedure applies to the front
fork leg.

Do not disassembly the right front fork leg.
1. Remove:
9 Dust seal 1
9 Circlip 2
MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM
a. Hold the inner tube vertically.
b. Securely clamp the inner tube in a vise
with soft jaws.
cC
Do not scratch the inner tube.
c. Remove the dust seal from outer tube.
d. While pressing down on the front fork,
remove the circlip.

2. Remove:
9 Inner tube 1
9 Outer tube 2
MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM
a. Hold the front fork leg horizontally.
b. Securely clamp the outer tube in a vise

with soft jaws.
c. Separate the inner tube from the outer
tube by pulling the inner tube forcefully but
carefully.

3. Remove:
9 Spring seat 1
9 Fork spring 2

9 Damper rubber 3
