ENGINE REMOVAL

REMOVING THE ENGINE

1. Stand the vehicle on a level surface.

Securely support the vehicle so that there
is no danger of it falling over.
NOTE:
Place the vehicle on the mainstand so that the
rear wheel is elevated.
2. Remove:
9 Side cover
3. Remove:
9 Air filter case assembly 1
4. Disconnect:
9 Oil hose
9 Oil delivery hose 1
9 Fuel hose

Turn the fuel cock lever to "S" position,
1
and then disconnect the fuel hose.
5. Remove:
9 Carburetor assembly

Refer to "SIDE COVERS SEAT AND
FUEL TANK" in chapter 3.
Refer to "CARBURETOR" in chapter 6.
