To remove an O-ring:

ensure that you do not scratch the component with the removal tool.
Use the tools as aids to pull the O-ring or seal from its groove.
Tip:
If you do not plan to reuse the O-ring or seal, you can use the forked end of tool 1 to impale
the O-ring or seal to remove it.
Warning:
To avoid spreading contamination with biologically hazardous, toxic, and corrosive
materials, dispose of all waste materials according to local environmental regulations.
4.8 Cleaning the instrument case
Notice:
