4.1 Cleaning and decontamination
Liquids inside the instrument can cause short circuits.
This may lead to burns, severe personal injury, or death.
• Unplug the instrument before cleaning it.
• Use only small amounts of cleaning agents on a soft cloth to wipe the
instrument. Do not spray or pour liquid cleaning agents onto or into the
instrument.
Clean the MACS MiniSampler S externally.

Wipe the instrument with a soft cloth.

Used disinfectants for decontamination must be in accordance with any local
l
regulations. The housing material is resistant against disinfectants that
contain alcohol, 1% sodium hypochlorite, and tensides (such as storage
solution or bleach solution).
