Troubleshooting

Issue
Rack detection failed. A
dialog box in the
autoMACS NEO
Separator user interface
informs that one or
both racks could not be
detected.
The
MACS MiniSampler S
does not move as
intended.
Possible reasons
An improper rack is
installed.
The installed rack does
not correspond to the
defined rack.
The barcode of the rack
is damaged.
None of the reasons
mentioned apply.
The MACS MiniSampler S
is not connected
correctly to the
autoMACS NEO
Separator.
Solution
First, tap Cancel in the dialog
l
box to stop the experiment.
Use only MACS Chill Racks and
l
MACS Reagent Racks with the
MACS MiniSampler S.
Install the same rack type that
l
has been defined for the
experiment.
Install a rack with intact
l
barcode.
1 Install a rack.
2 Start the experiment again.
3 Tap Continue in the dialog
box to continue the
experiment without rack
detection.
Check, if the mounting bracket
l
of the MACS MiniSampler S is
connected correctly to the
autoMACS NEO Separator.
