STEP 2.
Turn the unit right side up and place the canopy on top of the bench, aligning the
bench and the canopy hinge plates. Bolt the hinge plates together using the
1/2"x1/4" shoulder bolts, 3/8" nuts, 9/16" socket, and 1/4" Allen wrench (both
provided) (Fig. 2)
STEP 3.
Align the holes in the brake with the holes in the hinge plate. Bolt them together
using the 10-24x1" socket and the 5/32" Allen wrench (both provided).
STEP 4.
Using the 5/32" Allen wrench (provided), tighten the brake adjustment screw until it is
snug. (Fig. 2)
NOTE: DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN BRAKE ADJUSTMENT SCREW
STEP 5.
Remove the nut from each end of the shock. Attach cylinder end of the
shock to the canopy and attach the shaft end of the shock to the center
position on the bench. (Fig. 3)
NOTE: FOR PROPER CANOPY ADJUSTMENT - IF THE CANOPY RISES ON ITS OWN, MOVE THE
BENCH SHOCK ADJUSTMENT TO THE REAR POSITION. IF THE CANOPY FALLS TOO QUICKLY, MOVE
THE BENCH SHOCK ADJUSTMENT TO THE FORWARD POSITION
