It is recommended that only one (1) person at a time should use the tanning system, and advise using protective eyewear while using the tanning unit. Two (2) pair of protective eyewear are provided with each 164/4 Encore bed sold. WARNING If you have been diagnosed by physician as being allergic to the sun or are currently tak- ing photosensitive medications, consult you physician before using the tanning unit. -

REPAIRS - SERVICE - REPLACEMENT PARTS AND LAMPS - EYE PROTECTION If you are in need of any of the above mentioned products or services, you should contact the dealer/distributor through whom you purchased your unit. In the event that you are unable to do so, please call our Service Department for assistance at: 1-800-554-8268. - Page 9 A mild liquid deter- gent and water solution can be used temporarily in place of acrylic cleaner. For maximum efficiency of your 164/4 Encore Tanning Bed, periodic cleaning of lamps is required. Refer to relamping instructions for acrylic removal.

REPLACING ENCORE FACIAL LAMPS DISCONNECT POWER FROM UNIT. REMOVE (2) PHILLIPS PAN MACHINE SCREWS (AT FRONT EDGE OF THE ACRYLIC) USING A #2 PHILLIPS SCREW DRIVER OR SCREW GUN. PULL FRONT EDGE OF ACRYLIC/RAIL DOWN FROM CANOPY ALLOWING THE ACRYLIC TO HINGE DOWN FROM THE BACK SIDE. - Page 11 T-Max Series is designed for complete automation and control of your tanning equipment. A Heartland Timer is an OEM board that can be installed in a tanning bed or tanning booth. Each Heartland Timer can individually control a tanning bed, can be connected back-to-back with a T-Max 1A or T-Max 3A for remote front desk control or be connected with many Heartland Timers and a T-Max Manager or Manager/Plus to control many beds from a remote location.
- Page 12 Press the Start/Stop button. The current value for that parameter will be displayed and flashing. The Heartland Timer will show a number with a period illuminated in the lower center of the display. The number shown is the current value for that parameter.
- Page 13 SETTING THE ADDRESS Note: If you are using the Heartland Timer as an independent timer, you don’t need to set the address on the Heartland Timer. 1. Press and hold the Start/Stop buttons simultaneously on the Heartland Timer until a .1 appears on the dis- play.

STEP 5: FIND RH-LH BLOWER CORD AND BODY FAN CORD IN LEG ASSEMBLY AND ATTACH TO CPC CONNECTION ON FRONT OF BALLAST TRAY. STEP 6: INSTALL PLASTIC AIR COLLECTOR USING #8 X 5/8 PHILIPS TECH SCREW.
- Page 22 STEP 11: LOWER CANOPY APPROX. 6 INCHES AND REMOVE SPRING RETAINING BOLT. STEP 12: ROUTE CORDS 3 AND 4 FROM THE CANOPY THROUGH HOLE IN FRONT OF LEG ASSEMBLY DOWN THROUGH BASE AS SHOWN BELOW. ATTACH TO RECEPTACLE 3 AND 4 IN FRONT OF THE CANOPY BALLAST TRAY.
