for Lynxfamily.doc located in t h e directory D:\ VGA\SMI721\ LINUX\
(where D is your CD-ROM drive) for information on setting up the
display utility in the Linux operating system.
Installing Audio
Follow these instructions to install audio device drivers for Windows
2000/ME/98/95NT4.0 and DOS:
Windows 2000
Insert the driver CD into the CD-ROM drive.
1. Click Start, Run.
2. Type "D:\SOUND\ESS1938\WIN2000" in the Run Open dialog box,
where D is your CD-ROM drive.
3. Follow the instructions on the screen to install the audio driver for
the Windows 2000 operating system.
Windows ME/98/95
Insert the driver CD into the CD-ROM drive.
1. Click Start, Run.
2. Type "D:\SOUND\ESS1938\WIN95" in the Run Open dialog box,
where D is your CD-ROM drive.
3. Follow the instructions on the screen to install the audio driver for
the Windows ME/98/95 operating systems.
Windows ME/2000/98/95/NT
Insert the driver CD into the CD-ROM drive.
1. Click Start, Run.
2. Type "D:\SOUND\ESS1938\WINNT40" in the Run Open dialog
box, where D is your CD-ROM drive. The setup program
automatically detects your operating system.
3. Follow the instructions on the screen to install the audio driver for
your Windows operating system.
