10.1.3 Info page and "Fault status message bus" menu

Fault status message bus and
Main menu > Faults > Fault status message bus
This example shows the most serious pending fault of all devices on the device list,
or of all devices on the entire KNX network. The display depends on the display
settings for bus fault status messages, described in Section 8.5, Display bus fault
status messages.
10.2

Third-party bus device faults

Fault status messages from bus devices not listed in the device list are handled
differently depending on the settings for parameter Fault status message bus
(see Section 8.5, Display bus fault status messages):
• Setting Device list only:
Fault status messages from third-party bus devices are ignored.
• Setting All devices:
If the fault status message from the third-party bus device at present is the worst-
case pending fault, it is displayed only in the menu as well as the Fault status message
bus Info page. The fault LED is not switched on. Acknowledgement and reset is
impossible via fault button, and must take place on the corresponding, local device.
10.3

Acknowledge faults

Pressing the flashing fault button acknowledges all faults to be acknowledged. Only
faults from devices listed in the device list can be acknowledged. Any menu can be
used for acknowledgement.
• Acknowledging faults can take up to 1 minute if the device list is full.
• Faults from devices not on the device list cannot be acknowledged.
