Reset faults
Only faults from devices listed in the device list can be reset. As opposed to
acknowledgement, faults must be reset individually. To reset a fault, press the lit fault
button.
Resetting a current or displayed fault is possible only in the following menus to clearly
assign fault and reset command:
• Via the Fault status message bus Info page of the bus operator unit.
• Via the Fault status message bus menu of the bus operator unit.
• Via the Faults current (fault 1...20) of the bus operator unit.
• Via the Main menu of the bus operator unit, provided the faulty device
is selected.
• Locally on the faulty device (press Fault button).
• Faults of Synco 700 control units can be reset only via the bus operator unit if setting
Remote reset of fault is enabled. Example for Synco 700 universal controller RMU710:
Main menu > Commissioning > Communication > Basis settings
• Faults from devices not on the device list cannot be reset.

Delete faults
The deletion history of a device (e.g. Synco 700 universal controller) is not possible
from the bus operator unit. This function is available only on the local device (bus
device).
ESC and OK have no effect although deleting the fault history can be selected on the
bus operator unit.
