Data point display (visibility)

The bus operator unit's interface only displays data points for the Synco 700 control
units needed for the current device configuration.
In the case of other devices (e.g. RX.. room controller), the bus operator unit displays
all data points regardless of configuration. As a result, data points may not reflect real
values or setting values may not trigger any action, as the current device's configuration
may not support them or may be ineffective.

Customized texts

Customized device texts are taken over, i.e. the bus operator unit display is identical
to that on the local operator unit (RMZ790/791). The bus operator unit reads the
customized text from the corresponding device. The factory-set default text is displayed
until the customized text is received.

Cause / Solution
• The device list for the bus operator
unit and the software version of the
target device may not match, or the
device is not supported.
• Determine which versions of bus
operator unit and target device are
compatible. See Valid Version Set,
J3100.
• Exchange bus operator unit or target
device.
• No communication with target device.
• Is the device operating?
• Is the device connected to the KNX
bus?
• Was the device address changed?
