19.1 Structure of display programs
On the SINUMERIK 880, data from the NC, COM and PLC can be displayed on the screen.
The display programs required for this purpose are implemented in the COM area, which has
access to the relevant NC or PLC data by means of data drivers.
The following PLC displays are included in the 880 System as standard:
• Status display
• Error messages
• Operational messages
• Message group displays
