Setting the Language

Your CapTel phone can display captions in English or in Spanish. Whatever
language you select, the Options menu will also appear in that same language.
The default setting is English. Spanish captions must be turned on in the
CapTel settings menu in order for you to receive Spanish-language captions.
Spanish captioning is available for Spanish-to-Spanish conversations only.
The CapTel 2400i does not translate from English conversations to Spanish
conversations, and vice versa.
To set the language:
1. From the display screen, touch
2. Touch (General Settings).
3. Touch (Language).
4. Touch
for English-language captions or touch
language captions.
5. Touch (Back) when you are nished.
In some multi-lingual households, you may want to switch between English-
language captions and Spanish-language captions during the same call. If
you think that might apply to you,touch the check box to select "Able to
switch languages during a call". If you anticipate your calls will only be in
one language, either all in English or all in Spanish, do not check the box.
