Determines how the phone system to send the request to the server to download the phonebook
file. It can be selected from the dropdown list:
Automatic
Download Interval
Download Now
Starts downloading the XML phonebook to the phone immediately.
Applications/LDAP Phonebook
Selects which protocol will be used for LDAP searching, LDAP or LDAPS.
Connection Mode
Default is "LDAP".
Server Address
Configures the URI of the LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) server.
Configures the LDAP server port.
Port
The default LDAP port number is 389.
Determines the LDAP search base. This is the location in the directory where the search is
requested to begin.
Base DN
Example:dc=grandstream, dc=comou=Boston, dc=grandstream, dc=com
Configures the bind "Username" for querying LDAP servers. Some LDAP servers allow

anonymous binds in which case the setting can be left blank.
Specifies the bind "Password" for querying LDAP servers. The field can be left blank if the LDAP
Password
server allows anonymous binds.
Configures the "name" attributes of each record which are returned in the LDAP search result.
This field allows the users to configure multiple space separated name attributes.
LDAP Name Attributes
Example:cn sn description
Configures the "number" attributes of each record which are returned in the LDAP search result.
LDAP Number
This field allows the users to configure multiple space separated number attributes.
Attributes
Example: telephoneNumber, telephoneNumber Mobile
Determines the "mail" attributes of each record which are returned in the LDAP search result.
