.1. Set up a new conference

There are several ways to enter the 'Create Conference' from the 'Overview' – 'MCU' pane:
 Click on the 'Create New Conference' button in the Conference Overview pane.
 Use the drop down list and choose a 'Create New' conference and click on the 'ok' button.
 Click on [Create] in the Conference overview list.

Predefined conference configurations can be used by selecting one of the ten predefined Conference templates in
the 'Create Conference' pane. Conference Template 1 is default. All settings can be manually edited by an authorized
user.

Allow Incoming Calls When selected, incoming calls are automatically answered. If unselected, all incoming calls
The conference name will be shown on the 'Conference Overview' page and on the
'Conference Status' page.
Specifies the maximum possible call rate allowed in the conference. If a
participant does not support this rate the MCU will connect at the highest rate possible.
If 'Telephone' is selected, an audio bridge will be created and no video participants will be
able to join.
Specifies which IP-network to use as default.
When unselected, the MCU will set up a non-restricted call and down-speed to 56 kbps if
necessary. Select 'Restrict (56)' if the MCU should set up restricted calls by default.
Non-restricted and restricted calls are supported in the same conference. It is thus possible
to select restrict for each call individually when dialling.
