Inspect the MQAM
Performing routine maintenance helps prevent the need for troubleshooting. For
troubleshooting information, see Troubleshooting the MQAM (on page 69) for
instructions on addressing alarm conditions for the MQAM.
Quarterly Inspection
The MQAM can operate unattended for extended periods. However, you should
perform a visual inspection once every 4 months.
Important: Only qualified personnel should attempt maintenance and service of the
MQAM.
Check the following items during a visual inspection:
Cables and connectors - Make sure all cables are mated properly and all
retaining screws are tight. Inspect cables for stress and chafing.
Cover and rear panel - If necessary, clean the cover and rear panel with a soft
cloth dampened with a mild detergent solution.
