Set the Enable Registration field to Yes or No.

No — The VCX V7111 does not register to the proxy (default).
Yes — The VCX V7111 registers to the proxy at power up by sending a register
request for each channel.
Select the coder that best suits your VoIP system requirements. The default coder is:

G7231 (30 ms).
Allocate the VCX V7111 end points (analog lines) to incoming IP calls by completing

these steps:
a) Press the arrow button next to the End Point Phone Number field. The End Points'
Phone Numbers screen opens.
b) Enter the number of a channel (or a group of channels), under the Channel(s)
column.
c) Assign each a phone number (for a group of channels, define the first number in an
ordered sequence); see Figure 17.
d) Click SUBMIT; the VCX V7111 automatically updates.
e) Close the screen.
When using internal routing fields, continue with step 9. When using a proxy, skip to
step 10.
To map outgoing phone numbers to IP addresses, follow these steps:

a) Press the arrow button next to the Tel to IP Routing table field. The Tel to IP Routing
& IP Security screen opens.
Each row in the routing table consists of two fields: Destination Phone Prefix and IP
Address. An outgoing phone call is directed to the IP address associated with that
called number's prefix. Up to 50 different prefixes are supported.
b) Click SUBMIT; the VCX V7111 is automatically updated.
c) Click Close Window.
Click RESET and click OK in the prompt; wait approximately 60 seconds. The Ready and

LAN LEDs on the front panel light green. You are now ready to operate your phones
according to your specific configurations.
10 Recommended: Generate a backup INI file containing the current VCX V7111
configuration by completing these steps:
a) Open the Advanced Configuration menu > Configuration File and click GET INI FILE.
b) Save the generated INI file on your computer.
