Important Note

Please note that since the MIM programs on your CK3 require the use of a WiFi
connection, battery life will be impacted. Using the WiFi radio for live 2-way data
transfer means that battery life will be reduced when compared to using the CK3 in
a batch (non-live) mode.
Therefore it is recommended that you have a spare battery available which can be
charging while using the installed battery.

Introduction

The CK3 used with the Mobile Inventory Manager must be configured for your
Epicor Dimensions Canada system.
Changes must also be made to your Epicor Dimensions system's configuration
file. For reference purposes, these changes are outlined below. However, these
changes should be made by Epicor Dimensions Canada.
Please call your account manager at 800-538-8597 to schedule this set up.

Configuring Epicor Dimensions Canada

Install Epicor Dimensions Canada Programs

Ensure that the latest revisions of the Mobile Inventory Manager programs have
been installed in the Dim folder (WMM, WMC, WMB, WMP, and WML).

Create Password

A new password must be created to allow the handheld device to connect to the
server.
1. From the "System Functions" menu, select "Add/Maintain Users" and then
"Add Maintain Password. The following screen will appear:
