Using the Mobile Inventory Manager

Introduction

This section explains how to use the Mobile Inventory Manager to do the following
functions:

Inventory Inquiries

Add Items to Label Batches

Inventory Counts

Create Purchase Orders

Receive By Barcode

Inventory Location

Launching the Mobile Inventory Manager Port

1. Log on to any terminal using a password which has access to a command
prompt.
2. From the prompt run
SYYMPC Mobile Port Controller
Number Of Ports In Use: 0
Port: 20
Port: 65
Port: 253
S = Start Port
You could also add SYYMPC to a menu if you wish to be able to run it without
requiring use of a password which has command prompt access.
3. The program will list all ports which are configured for MIM devices. In most
cases there will only be one port in a store configured for a handheld.
