Mobile Inventory Manager

The Mobile Inventory Manager allows users to access Epicor Dimensions Canada
programs anywhere in the store. Tasks such as inventory counts, inventory and
price inquiries, creating barcodes, creating purchase orders, and processing
inventory receipts can all be performed remotely. Unlike batch devices, the data
entered is transmitted instantly to the Epicor Dimensions Canada system.
The Mobile Inventory Manager runs on an Intermec CK3 Windows Mobile device.

Using the Mobile Inventory Manager uses an Epicor Dimensions Canada port and
requires appropriate licensing.

Requirements

The following components are necessary to use the Mobile Inventory Manager:
Wireless network.
The wireless network should be properly set up and secured with
professionally installed access points to ensure maximum coverage. Epicor
has only certified the Mobile Inventory Manager with the Symbol AP-5131
Access Point.
Intermec CK3 handheld device.
Epicor Dimensions version 5 or higher.
To ensure optimal performance, the latest service packs should be installed.
Epicor Dimensions Canada user license.
Using the Mobile Inventory Manager uses an Epicor Dimensions Canada user
license. This is the same type of license that is required for running an SDTerm
port or a terminal. If the number of users on the system exceeds the number of
available licenses, the programs will not run.
Mobile Inventory Manager Software module.
Wavelink TelnetCE installer and license available from Wavelink.com
Config file for TelnetCE available from Epicor Dimensions Canada.
USB-A to USB-microB cable used to load Wavelink TelnetCE.
Spare CK3 battery is recommended but not required.
