Introduction

The enter Purchase Order function allows the user to add an item to a Purchase
Order batch on Dimensions.

Refer to chapter 7 of the Epicor Dimensions User Guide for a full
explanation of the purchasing process.

Entering an Existing Purchase Order Batch

1. In Dimensions, use the Suggested Order function to create an order batch.
See Epicor Dimensions User Guide, section 7.3.6 (Add/Edit Suggested
Orders) for details. In brief, choose Create/Edit Suggested Order from the
Suggested Ordering menu. Key 1 and complete the necessary information.
Remember the batch name you gave to this order.
Note: To create a new batch using the mobile device, see the section
"Creating a New Purchase Order Batch", below.
2. On the mobile device, from the main menu press 3 for Enter Purchase
Order.
3. The following screen will appear, prompting for a batch number:

4. Enter the order batch identification number used in step 1 above. Press
ENTER.
5. A screen similar to the one below will appear:

6. Press ENTER to continue. The following screen will appear on the
handheld unit.
