Basic Setup

System Configuration provides access to functions that allow you to
customize the MAC 1600 settings and to utilities to help manage those
settings. This chapter describes the settings managed by each function
and the process followed by each utility.
CAUTION
POTENTIAL DATA LOSS — After making configuration
changes, you MUST return to the MAC 1600 Main Menu
to ensure the changes are saved.
Setup functions fall into the following categories:
Basic system settings
Resting ECG settings
Arrhythmia settings
Stress ECG settings
Communication settings
Country settings
Print settings
Patient settings
User settings
Options
Service settings
Date and time
Depending on which system options have been activated, some of these
functions may not be available on your device.
The Basic Setup function allows you to define the following information:
Institutional identification
Default physicians
System settings
Stress test device (if the ERGO stress test option is activated)
System security
Time servers
