Select the firmware file and click
[Open].
• The firmware update will start.
• Do not operate the printer before the completion
message appears.

If the version of selected firmware
is the same as current one or
older, the warning message will
appear.
To cancel the update, click [No]
and turn the printer OFF and ON.

Check that firmware update is
completed.
• Click [OK].
 Confirming the Printer Driver Version
Follow the procedure below to confirm the printer driver version after opening the
printer driver setting screen. (→See "Opening the Setting Screen (From the Start
Menu)" on page 88)
[Canon IX-R7000 Printing Preferences] → [Card] tab → [Version...] → [Version information]
