the system recovered?
Does upgrading LinkPlexer require

Answer
Set up the new server. Install
LinkPlexer 6.0 from the DVD. Replace
the LPConfig.ini file with a backup
copy of the original file. Refer to
"Backing up LinkPlexer and restoring
to a new server" on page 80.
Yes.
The recommended boot sequence is:
1. LinkPlexer 6.0 server, 2. Contact
Center Manager Server, 3. TAPI.
However, if LinkPlexer is restarted,
the switch link and all associations
are dropped as well as the
connections to Contact Center
Manager Server and TAPI. Both
Contact Center Manager Server and
TAPI go into a link restart phase trying
to reconnect to the switch. When
LinkPlexer comes up, it establishes
the connection to the switch and lets
Contact Center Manager Server and
TAPI reconnect to it. Contact Center
Manager Server and TAPI then
reassociate (reacquire) the lines and
continue normally. If the connection
between the switch and LinkPlexer is
lost and LinkPlexer continues to run, it
drops the connection to Contact
Center Manager Server and TAPI,
forcing them into the link restart
phase. You can restart any of the
servers without impacting the others.
Refer to the Problem Determination
Guide at http://www.eicon.com for
Eicon Card X.25 command
diagnostics.
