Configuration file changes
IP address to host name resolution
LinkPlexer 1.1 performed a lookup on the IP address entered in the
configuration file to obtain a host name for display purposes. On some networks,
the lookup process was unacceptably slow (~20 seconds). When configured with
Contact Center Manager Server acting as a session controller, the slow response
can lead to LinkPlexer 1.1 failing to complete the logon process initiated by
Contact Center Manager Server. This feature was removed in LinkPlexer 1.2
and is not supported in LinkPlexer 6.0.
