Positioning the Unit

Before hanging, the unit should be rigged and completely assembled. The PreciseLine air handler main section should be
positioned on the pallet to permit access to mounting holes in the structural cross bracing under the unit. The entire unit is then
lifted on the pallet and secured with minimum 1/2" threaded rod, washers and lock nuts through all support bracing. If the pallet is
not available, the fully assembled unit may be supported by the main section, while lifting into place
(Figure 9 & Figure 10 on page
10).
In this case, the main section must be secured with the threaded rod before the mixing box or discharge plenum. Spring
isolation is recommended on sizes 030, 040 and 050 as these units do not have any internal vibration isolation. Refer to
Figure 15
and
Figure 14 on page 13.
