DDI-10E INSTALLATION AND OPERATION MANUAL
This menu selection only applies to the DDI-9E Handshake selection. Use the WIN
Exprecium software to set up the handshake requirements in the DDI-10E as noted in
section 5. The DDI-10E can use the Caller ID to select the proper first handshake to use
based on previous experience with the handshake that the dialer responded to
previously.
CAUTION:
Not all dialers on the market respond to the correct starting handshake. If a
dialer starts to transmit its data, but the DDI-10E hangs up the phone while attempting to
decode the information, it may be that the dialer responded to the wrong handshake.
