Enabling and disabling the buffer
By default, there is a buffer delay in the unit. This buffer delay mutes the unit before you hear
audible clicks caused by changes in sample rate or clock frequency. The delay is 0.72 seconds
with 44.1 kS/s data, and 0.16 seconds with 192kS/s data.
If the unit is connected to a television or video equipment, you may need to disable the buffer to
keep the sound in sync with the picture.
1. Press the Menu button.
2. Select UNIT SETTINGS > BUFFER MODE.
3. Press the Menu button to enable
Enabling and disabling DSD upsampling
You can select between three processing options when receiving PCM data.
1. Press the Menu button.
2. Select UNIT SETTINGS > UPSAMPLING.
3. Press the Menu button to change the setting.
Changing the RS-232 mode
You can change the operating mode of the RS-232 socket.
For more information, see "RS-232 socket" on page 14.
1. Press the Menu button.
2. Select UNIT SETTINGS > RS232 MODE.
3. Press the Menu button to change between text mode

DSDx2. The unit adds a DSDx2 upsampling step before the end of the PCM
