4.3.5.2 LLDP Port Setting

This page allows you to configure the LLDP Port settings for Managed Media Converter as the screen in
Interval >= (4 * Delay Interval)
This column provides configuring the value for Tx Hold Multiplier; the default
value is 4 minute and the available range is 2 to 10.
Each LLDP frame contains information about how long the information in the
LLDP frame will be considered valid. The LLDP information valid period is set to
Tx Hold multiplied by Tx Interval seconds.
TTL in seconds is based on the following rule:
(Transmission Interval * Holdtime Multiplier) ≤ 65536.
Therefore, the default TTL is 4*30 = 120 seconds.
This column provides configuring Re-lnit Delay settings; the default value is 2
and the available range is 1 to 10. Unit is second.
When a port is disabled, LLDP is disabled or the Managed Media Converter is
rebooted a LLDP shutdown frame is transmitted to the neighboring units,
signaling that the LLDP information isn't valid anymore. Re-init Delay controls
the amount of seconds between the shutdown frame and a new LLDP
initialization.
This column provides configuring Tx Delay settings; the default value is 2 and
the available range is 1 to 8192. Unit is second.
If some configuration is changed (e.g. the IP address) a new LLDP frame is
transmitted, but the time between the LLDP frames will always be at least the
value of Tx Delay seconds. Tx Delay cannot be larger than 1/4 of the Tx
Interval value.
This attribute must comply with the rule:
(4 * Delay Interval) ≤Transmission Interval
