Checking the chain

•
Check that the guide slider and the ten-
sioner pad are not excessively worn.
•
Check that the chain assembly, the
camshaft driving pulleys and the
sprocket wheel are not worn.
•
Replace the parts if signs of wear are
found.
Cylinder-piston assembly

Removing the cylinder

•
Remove the head gasket (1).
•
Remove the guide shoe (2).
