Remove the lock washer
CAUTION
BEFORE PROCEEDING WITH THE FOLLOWING OPERATIONS GET A SUITABLE COLLECTION
CONTAINER.
•
Remove the stem from the vice and
drain off the oil inside it into the collec-
tion container.
•
Reposition the stem in the vice using
the specific Teflon shoes.
•
Remove the dust gaiter, taking care for
the surface of the stem and the integrity
of the dust gaiter.
•
Remove the retainer ring.
•
Remove the stem from the sleeve.
CAUTION
BE CAREFUL NOT TO DAMAGE THE SLEEVE INTERIOR
WHEN REMOVING THE DIFFERENT COMPONENTS.
