manual Doppler measurement tools. These Doppler tools then
calculate and deliver numeric results, using exactly the same
calculations as when landmarks are defined by purely manual
user input. Be aware that due to potential variations in the
automatically placed landmarks when using Cardiac
AutoDoppler, any calculation based on unadjusted landmarks
may give a deviation in numeric results - typically up to 10%
compared to when the landmarks are optimized and placed
manually.
4D Auto AVQ and 4D Auto MVQ tools use automated
segmentation algorithms to initiate 3D models that the tool
measurements are calculated from. There is an inherent risk
that these automated segmentation algorithms may give
inaccurate 3D models. Values reported in the Accuracy column
in the table below are based on measurements where the user
has, if necessary, edited the 3D model before approval of the
results. As recommended in the user manual, the result should
not be approved without review, and, if necessary, editing of the
3D model. If the tools are used without review and editing, the
expected accuracy will be negatively affected. The expected
accuracy of the measurements when the tools are used without
review and editing (Accuracy w/o editing) are reported in the
Comments column in the table below.
