Home and Away Modes
By default, the Home Mode is set to disarm the entire system, and the Away Mode is set to arm the entire system. The actions associated with these modes can
be changed from the Macros page. To change these actions, Edit the
have the system turn on the lamp in the living room and arm the system when in Away Mode.
After inserting an activated access key into the panel, the status LED should turn GREEN and the Home and Away button will become enabled. Press the button
corresponding to the mode you wish to activate. The button will begin to blink, and, upon completing the mode's associated actions, the Wireless Keypad will
beep twice. The buttons will then become disabled, and the Wireless Keypad will be waiting for the next key insertion.
Event Notification
The system can send a notification to your email or cell phone when the Home or Away button is activated on the access panel. Along with the date and time, the
notification will include the name of key used. This may be helpful, for example, to alert you when your child has come home from school. Please consult the Event
Scheduling section for more information on setting up notifications.
