Remedies
• Make sure that the camera has correct power (check the following steps):
o Make sure that the AC power adapter is plugged in to a properly-powered AC outlet
o Make sure that the power plug is completely plugged in to the power jack
o If battery powered, be sure that batteries are properly inserted with the correct polarity. Be sure you are
using fully-charged batteries.
• Make sure that the camera has correct power (see above).
• Position the camera in closer proximity to the controller and try again.
• Check to make sure that no other wireless device is interfering with the camera transmissions. The sensor
transmits in the 418 MHz frequency band.
• Make sure that you have fully pressed and then released the discover button.
• Check to make sure that the camera has been registered properly with the controller.
• Make sure that you have the proper settings configured for the camera and the desired sensor event (in the
Event Setup screen).
• Make sure that sensors are armed.
• Make sure that the camera's motion sensor is not blocked.
• Make sure that the camera's motion sensor is properly oriented. For best results, motion should take place
perpendicular to the motion sensor field of view, rather than directly toward or away from the motion sensor.
• Check that the video LED is illuminated green (on the system controller front panel) when the camera is
selected in the live video window. If the LED is red, adjust the orientation of the camera's antenna (or move the
camera closer to the system controller) until the LED turns green.
