Device State

The STATE column will show information particular to the device type. For example, door sensors will display if the contact sensor is open or closed. For power
controllers it will show if the power controller is set to on or off. For other types of devices, the arm state may be displayed. If a device is having trouble a
message will be shown here indicating the problem. Battery operated devices may initially appear without a known status or state. Until the controller
communicates with the device (up to 20 minutes), the device will show as no data available:

Device State Descriptions

Each device shown in the device list (such as a camera and a sensor) automatically reports its state to the Motorola homesight Software system whenever that
state changes. The current device state is indicated by an icon as well as by a text description. The description depends on the device and status, as follows:

All battery-operated sensors

• disarmed
